Olivenite, as a sparkling dark olive-green micro-crystalline druse of individual blades; from Cap Garonne, Var, France, collected pre-1979. Beautiful and aesthetic, the druse is growing on limonite over micro-quartz crystals on matrix.

This specimen measures about 5 cm x 2.3 cm x 1.7 cm. The crystals are about 3 mm x 5 mm.
