Tantalite is no longer considered as a single mineral species; this "tantalite" material is from the Hugo pegmatite, Hugo Mine, near Keystone, South Dakota, USA, collected pre-1981. The material is crystalline single crystal and shows parts of some faces and cleavages, common with the material from this pegmatite.
