Umangite, massive, tarnished purple, with accessory tyrellite (type locality), aragonite and malachite. From the Eldorado Mining and Refining Mine, ¼ mile east of Eagle Shaft, near Martin Lake, Beaver Lodge area, Saskatchewan, Canada. Collected S.C. Robinson (GSC) August, 1963.

This specimen measures about 3.2 cm x 3.0 cm x 1.0 cm.

Vesuvianite (Idocrase) var. Cyprine

Vesuvianite (old name Idocrase) var. Cyprine from the long-destroyed locality at Kleppan, Sauland, Telemark, Norway, collected about 1910. The blue-green crystals are beautifully contrasted by the flesh colored Zoisite var. Thulite crystals (this is the thulite type-locality). As is the case for material from this locality, many crystals are broken or damaged except for those in the deep vug.
