Chalcomenite

Chalcomenite from Eldorado Mining and Refining Company, 1/4 mile east of Eagle Shaft, near Martin Lake, Beaver Lodge area, Saskatchewan, Canada. Collected August 1963. Chalcomenite occurs as transparent turquoise-color micro orthorhombic disphenoidal crystals. Accessories confirmed by XRD include umangite, tyrrellite, aragonite, green malachite, grayish molybdenite, and pink ahlfeldite.
