Purchasing mineral specimens from SelectMinerals.com is easy:
- Browse our alphabetical mineral lists and note the species, mineral number and price, shown in US dollars. Also, you can use the handy currency converter below to determine approximate costs in another currency.
- All items are shipped express air mail which includes tracking number and insurance. At your option, we can ship via surface, or Federal Express for fastest delivery. Shipping without tracking and insurance are at the buyer's risk. Larger radioactive specimens like betafite or uraninite may require special handling and/or courier delivery depending upon the destination country.
- Payment may be made by credit card or bank card using PayPal; bank transfers and money orders are also acceptable but are slower to complete.
- Send us an e-mail, including the names and numbers of the specimens wanted, US dollar price, payment and shipping preferences. Also, please include your name, mailing and street address, and telephone number with area and country codes so we can calculate shipping costs.
- We'll then e-mail you the total cost including shipping and insurance charges, together with payment instructions.
- While waiting for receipt of payment, we will change the availability shown on our web site for the specimens you ordered to On Hold.
- We endeavor to carefully pack and ship your order by the second business day after your payment has been received at our bank. We will notify you by e-mail when your specimens have been shipped, together with the tracking information.
Specimens include a three-day money back guarantee (less shipping). This assumes that they haven't been damaged, are in original condition, and include all provided labels. To return a specimen, contact us by e-mail within three days and we will arrange a full refund (less shipping), or exchange for a different specimen. Returned specimens must be packed carefully (preferably in their original packing) and returned prepaid.
